For many years volcanogenic massive sulphide deposits were discovered and explored by identifiying prospective felsic volcanic rocks. Using machine learning we investigated more than 20 felsic mining districts in the Abitibi Greenstone Belt and compared them to their potential modern analoges seafloor massive sulphide deposits.
