My research interests reside at the triple junction of tectonics, sedimentology and stratigraphy.
Tectonics | I focus on both ancient and modern oceans to understand how they evolve.
Sedimentology | I use the age and provenance of sediments to understand how convergent margins evolve over time. I employ numerous methods, including detrital mineral geochronology and geochemistry and detrital mode analyses.
Stratigraphy | I build high resolution age models using calcareous nannofossils and radiolarians, as well as tephra horizons and palaeomagnetic constraints.
